SHAMROCK DELIGHT (D. Trimmer) Tetraploid (Isle Of Man x Kaskel Sdlg. “Best Edge”) 26” EE Re. Ev. 5 ½” SHAMROCK DELIGHT came about by crossing “Best Edge” into my Tetra Ruffled Masterpiece lines via ISLE OF MAN. The product was a darker rounder more pink bloom than PRISCILLA’S SMILE, again with a large gold edge, and about 22-25 buds per scape. The gold edge seems to be a dominant trait, as crosses with SHAMROCK DELIGHT into my “Edge No Eye” line produced double edges (gold surrounding lavender for example) without eyes. A wonderful grower and parent, though few pods I love what this cultivar has produced thus far in my program. $150 |
