AMERICAN CLASSIC (Dan Trimmer) Tetraploid (Unknown x Unknown) 41” E. Re. 6 3/4” Ev. (Sdlg. 9-462) This beautiful round, full, clean pale lavender has a subtle raspberry eye and edge surrounded by gold. Pod fertility in flowers this large is usually a problem especially in the heat of Florida. I was able to easily set pods all season long much to my surprise and delight last spring and summer. This very large flower sits atop tall (41”) scapes so it is not for the very front of the garden. This classic is very important in my breeding program.
