CRANBERRY ISLAND

CRANBERRY ISLAND (D. Trimmer) Tetraploid (Seedling. x Coast To Coast) x Coast To Coast  20” M. Re. Sev. 5 ½” CRANBERRY ISLAND should be happier further north than here in Central Florida, and I expect it to be taller with more winter. This “edge no eye” cultivar is an excellent parent producing offspring with lavender to plum and rouge edges. CRANBERRY ISLAND will in fact have different shades of edge depending upon the temperature and bloom season. Last year, being a bit unhappy being so far south she had two lateral ranches per scape averaging 17 buds. I believe this an important cultivar and in very short  supply.
