DUKE ELLINGTON

DUKE ELLINGTON (D. Trimmer) Tetraploid  (Seedling x Tetra Connie Burton) 30” EM. Re. Ev. 6” This large flat opened ivory peach bloom has a bold multi-shaded eye of dark plum, violet and purple. Standing tall in the front of a bed as visitors to the National Convention entered our garden many asked when I would introduce DUKE ELLINGTON which was at that time unnamed. The Duke is quite pod fertile and I’ve used DUKE ELLINGTON for the past several years in an effort to add scape height and flower size to my program with success.
