ISABEL'S SPIDER

ISABEL’S SPIDER (D. Trimmer) Tetraploid (Isable Maraffi x DeBary Canary) 37” EM. Re. Ev. 8 1/2” This pale lavender blend with the large yellow and green throat is an Unusual Form Spatulate. I made the this odd cross hoping for a double spider and got neither. What I did get was a classic daylily that has 40 almost always perfect blooms on a tall, vigorous, fertile plant. During the convention ISABEL’S SPIDER was perhaps the hit of the year, something we did not expect. Based on her genetics we expect Isabel to travel well further north.
