PORT ORANGE (D. Trimmer) Tetraploid (Orange Blossom Trail x Tetra Connie Burton) 28” EM. Re. Ev. 5 ¾” PORT ORANGE is a wider, rounder version of its wonderful parent, ORANGE BLOSSOM TRAIL. OBT has been a grand parent, and we eagerly look forward to the first crop of seedlings from PORT ORANGE. This cultivar has 28 buds on two or three lateral branches. There is a small fine rouge eye and small rouge edge surrounded by a gold wire edge. PORT ORANGE has a clean green throat which sets the color off so well in the garden. Fertile both ways and an excellent grower and increaser. |
