SILKY TWILIGHT (D. Trimmer) Tetraploid (Seedling x Seedling) 38” EE Re. Ev. 6 ½” This very early, very tall lavender bloom is one of the first very large flowers to open the season. Typically 26 buds are carried on each scape. The base color is a creamy lavender accented by a glowing chartreuse throat which turns dark green as you go deeper into the throat. Fertile, but difficult for me in the heat of the Florida sun. Again, I’ve tried to introduce taller material into our breeding lines. |
