GARDEN DEBUTANTE (D. Trimmer) Tetraploid (Across The Galaxy x Priscilla’s Smile) 31” EM. Re. Ev. 7 ¼” Several early blooms are sometimes single, but then she doubles almost all of the time. This ivory yellow self with the fancy edge is double over 85% of the time. When this bloom is “on” it is a “knock out” and creates a garden party all by itself! During the AHS National Convention tour in our garden several people did not bother to tour the garden, but just stayed next to this large double asking when it would be offered. This debutante is a wonderful grower and increaser, but only pollen fertile thus far for me with a bud count of about 15. |
