JUNGLE ISLAND shows off its orange pink petals and bold rouge, red eye on tall erect scapes. I remember the green throat as being more intense than the image I’ve shown, but my age might be a factor here! I listed this as an Early Mid-season bloom, but again, I remember it as being more on the early side. Oh well, in any event from the first bloom last year this was a garden favorite and I easily made pods out in the full sun. Typical budcount was about 20 and the growth and re bloom were excellent. |
