Ev. 6" (Sdlg. 0-35) Sometimes our best comes from a cross that upon reflection makes us scratch our heads and ask, "why did I do that?" It didn't matter as it worked out wonderfully in the case of SAPPHIRE SUMMER as I got a base color I have not seen before featuring an immense purple plum eye, green throat and double edge. Extremely pod fertile with two lateral branches, a terminal Y and 18 buds per scape. SAPPHIRE SUMMER resembles nothing else in our garden.
