CATHEDRAL OF LIGHT (D. Trimmer) Tetraploid 32” 7 1/4” E. Re. Ev. (Great Gatsby X Tetra Rossencilvia) From the limited amount of seed I produced from Pete Harry's Rossencilvia I got several wonderful seedlings, all showing beautiful bold green throats which this year I crossed with some of my green throats from Tetra Emerald Starburst. This cathedral has three lateral branches and a terminal Y with18 buds. Wonderfully fertile, she was filled with pods even in the full Florida sun. The base color is pastel Ivory with a blue grey eye and darker blue grey etch. The form is full and round, the sepals are short and blunt. This flower glows in the garden featuring new genetics for green throats. |
