KING ARTHUR'S QUEST (D. Trimmer) Tetraploid 30” 6” Early Re. Ev. (Ehren Thomas X Unknown) This full formed, circular, dark royal purple bloom can be shocking when it starts its display in the early part of the season. A very large gold edge and a large chartreuse green throat complete the show. Extravagant ruffles integrated with the gold braid hold the blooms atop three lateral branches and a terminal Y with typically 22 buds. In the direct Florida sun pods were limited, but we expect pod fertility to greatly increase elsewhere. Truly a garden gem. |
