WINDMILL LANE (D. Trimmer) Diploid 40” 8” EM. Re. Ev. (Orange Spice X Emerald Starburst) This rose red bloom sports a very large green throat. Using EMERALD STARBURST in its diploid form I've seen the extremes in form here and with RUBY STARBURST. In this case the very fine foliage associated with spider type blooms is present and the display is beautiful atop 40” tall scapes. The crispate 8” UF blooms are consistent. The plant is extremely pod fertile, and proliferations on the lower unobtrusive bracts are commonplace. Seven branches on strong scapes were typical with 36 buds. Very limited. |
