ETHEL BUCCOLA (Dan Trimmer) Tetraploid (Tennyson x Tetra Connie Burton) 24" EM Re. Ev. 5" Pictures don’t always capture what is special in a flower. Ethel (named for a dear Long Island friend who, along with her husband Micky, were so welcoming to Jane and I when we first moved to Water Mill, Long Island that she became a special friend) is a clear apricot pink bloom noted by a precise circular pencil line eye of red setting off a huge green throat. The bloom is subtle, but none the less noticed by and admired most of our garden visitors. Well branched, fertile and always lovely
