LIGHT FORBES

(Jane Trimmer, 2004) Tetraploid (Pumpkin Prince X Crocodile Smile) 30" Em Re. Ev .7 ½" I named LIGHT FORBES for a stable mate of SPRINGFIELD CLAN. They spent many of their days together in stable and fields. LIGHT FORBES was a handsome chestnut horse who brightened our days making wonderful funny faces. He will live in my memory forever! LIGHT FORBES has the potential for long petaled, spidery double edges. In the garden it was an eye catching orange with a sometimes brilliant edge of yellow and red. This spring in the greenhouse I set quite a few pods on LIGHT FORBES hoping to capture it’s wonderful edge in my spider lines. It was a difficult set in the sun in the nursery out of doors. With edged breeding on both sides LIGHT FORBES should be a powerful parent, but only time will tell.
