I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking for when I made this cross, but what emerged was a pleasing lavender bitone long petaled bloom with a silver edge. A very pretty garden subject, VIKING STAR should be as asset for those of us who would like to add some Tetraploid edges to our spider lines since Ida’s Magic is gold edged and Tetra Spindazzle throws teeth in many of its offspring. Fertile both ways, VIKING STAR’S first offspring will bloom this coming year in my seedling garden. |
